If you work in any type of business where people need to know your name then odds are you are required to wear Id Badges. This is a visible tag of who you are and typically includes your full name and a photo for security purposes. A person wearing such an important piece of identification is probably not someone that a potential criminal would want to mess with, therefore stopping them from approaching you. Also, if anyone needs help or assistance in such a scenario, you can be pinpointed as someone with the capabilities to help them.

Many countries in the world require identification badges to be worn at all times due to their location’s current political standings and events. The United States does not ask it’s citizens to wear such things on a daily basis, unless they work in a government building or other place of employment that it is necessary.
